THE FOLK DANCE GROUP “OOSTZAAN” FROM OOSTZAAN, NETHERLANDS, was established in 1987. Under the inspiriting guidance of Ineke van der Hilst, 14 enthusiasts often perform folk concerts in open-air museums and community centers throughout the country. Their dances are from different regions of Holland. The costumes of the group are authentic or copies of original models of typical urban clothing some of which disappeared from the street scene at the end of the 19th century. In some villages these traditional costumes are still being worn during festivals and ceremonies.

The folk group has participated in several festivals in Germany, Austria, Latvia, and Portugal.
 
 

 

 
THE FOLK DANCE GROUP OF THE COLLEGE “GELISHIM” FROM IZMIR, TURKEY, consists of students who attend this school, which was established in 1991. Because cultural values through the medium of folklore are very important to this school, it started teaching folk dancing five years later.
The rich repertoire of the group includes a variety of dances from northern, southern and western regions of Turkey. The group has participated successfully in many folk dance competitions in their home country and in festivals in Italy, Hungary, and Greece, where it will go on tour again after its participation in Montana.

 

THE CHILDREN'S FOLK GROUP “SABINEK” FROM SLOVAKIA, has existed at the town cultural centre in Sabinov since 1989. The members are over 40 children in the ages of 5-14. There are two groups in the ensemble: dance and singing. The musical parts are played by the musicians of the adult's folklore group „Sabinovchan".
„Sabinik" is the ensemble of free time artistic activity, which focuses on folk traditions. Its goals are to perform and to develop folk heritage: dances, songs, music, games, and customs from the region of Sharish. Moreover, the group ensures succession between generations by preparing performers for the adult's folklore group „Sabinovchan".

 

THE DANCE GROUP „ТА VAVOYLA" FROM MAKRIKAPA, GREECE, was established in 1994. The participants are united by the desire for the revival of folk dances and traditions of their ancestors and the wish to pass them on to future generations. The fact that the activities of the group are expanding and it is attracting new fans proves that their goal is becoming a reality. In order to fulfill its mission, the group organizes a yearly regional folk dance festival. It takes place in Makrikapa on May 21 the day of Saint Konstantin and Elena according to the Calendar of the Orthodox Church.
In addition, "Та Vavoyla" popularizes Greece folklore through participation in concerts and festivals from the Island of Rhodes to Germany.

 

 

THE MUSICAL AND DANCE ENSEMBLE OF THE COLLEGE „GALINA VISHNEVSKAYA" - RUSSIA, is an impressive formation. The college is a successor of the Children's Music Theatre established in 1884 by Elena Yurievna Tratsevskaja and belonging to the The Pioneer's Home of the Perovski's residential in Moscow. After many transformations, it was reorganized into the College of Musical and Theater Art № 61 in 2002. The school combines general education with the study of the arts in four subjects: stage and theatre design, playing of music instruments, singing, and choreography.
The Theater of Opera and Ballet is the largest creative component in the structure of the college “Galina Vishnevskaya”. The unique youth team has participated in many festivals in its home country and in Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, and other European cities.
